Howdy,
First post! hopefully not the last.
My daughter needs her own car. I found a 1990 LS for sale for about $1400. The ad states that the car has Approx 165k miles has had new hoses, belts and timing belt recently. It is auto, moon roof, cloth seats and tinted windows. The owner claims it runs well and gets about 30mpg.
I plan on visiting the car April 24th at about 6pm. Are there things that could be a problem? Compression? Oil leaks? Warped rotors? Spedo cable breakage? Are there other trouble spots? I know the reputation for these and Hondas is exceptional. I have been a Honda Pilot owner for a few years. I do my own wrenching :wrench: on my vehicles but tend to stay out of the automatic tansmissions.
Thanks for your response! I hope I see your response before I visit the car.
Cheers
Fred B
