1989 LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Vin# ZA9CA05A4KLA12707 the 25th Anniversary was the last and most agressive Countach made. 627 examples were produced from 1988 through to 1990. This last-of-line model is largely based on the Quattrovalvole 5000S, incorporating its 48 valve 455bhp engine. Taking the 5000S further, the anniversary has new redesigned aerodynamics for cooling and downforce. Additionally, new brake ducts are incorporated into the rear sills & front dam. The redesigned front and rear kevlar hoods keep to the agressive duct theme as does the optional rear wing. More luxuries such as electric windows and power seats came as standard options. This particular model is in great shape and has exceptionally low mileage. The paint is in excellent condition as is all the exterior trim. Tires also are in great shape with plenty of tread left. Everything mechanical and electrical works all the way down to the A/C which blows nice and cold. The car drives great with no hint of deficiencies in any facet of the driving experience. The only item appearing to need attention is the rear view mirrors as they are not able to hold a consistent position. The car has been very well maintained with a trail of receipts to represent the quality of the vehicle. Mileage reads: 4,196 kilometers which converts to 2,607 miles.

One of my fellow NSX'er bought a Countach and had it refurbished to probably higher standards than when new. At a gathering he was giving rides and since his had a white interior the only requirement was to gingerly place your feet in so as not to touch anything. The ride was exhilerating to say the least! You seened to be able to hear every little gear working. It was a rush to remember.

A side note - the guy almost did't make it to our event. He had picked it up a couple of days prior to that and the first day driving it was arrested for several traffic offenses. He was released on bond just the day before!

Agreed, the sound of all that mechanical magic whirring around just inches from your ears is intoxicating and worth the price of admission alone.

As part of NSXPO 2007 in Ohio the NSX'ers visited the largest Lambo dealer in the U.S. There are two Countach's for sale. Sorry Bill, no red - but that probably save you much green!
