Is that what you have in engine mods? What have you done?

I have bought 2008 Acura TL type S and i have experienced problems when trying to shift in to third gear. It's just sometimes it won't go in and you really have to force it. Some times it will pop back into nuetral and some times it the car will grind gears. I have taken back to the dealer one time and they said that the car was not grinding gears and shifted into third perfectly fine. But i still receive problems with it even when i took it off the lot right after they told me. i have tried to live with it but i just cant take it any more. I had to pay almost $40,000 for this car and should not have to deal with it. I have driven stick since i was 16 and have never had a problem like this with my Chevorlet, Nissan, and Volkswagon. Has anyone experienced this and had a dealer that has fixed this. I want to know what to say so i can get it fixed. I bought mine from Karen Radley Acura in Woodbridge VA

I had the EXACT same problem on my Type S. I drove it to the dealership and they told me the same thing. They said that it drives perfectly fine and shifts perfectly in and out of all gears. I told them that I know how to drive a stick shift and never had problems with other manual cars. I also mentioned to them that it's a brand new car still on warranty and it should be shifting with no problems. The service adviser replied by telling me that if I still have problems with it to take it back to them and they will check it out again. BTW my second manual Type-S drives and shifts with no problems, so I guess that it's a manufacturer defect on the other one.
