keyless remote

i just bought a 2008 acura csx. unfortunately it only has 1 keyless remote and key. i inquired from a local dealership and i was told it will be CND$409 + taxes!!!

i just want to know if there is another way of getting the device, have it cut, and programmed without paying this much!

That certainly seem like a lot of money for this. Have you considered a second quote?

P.S. - Speaking of keys -- Last week I was doing something in my 2000 NSX and inadvertently locked the keys inside. My wife wasn't home with her set, but I still had a key from my previous 1995 NSX on the mantel. It opened the door, but would not start the 2000 car. The 2000 has a chip in it while the '95 does not - but it did get me inside, and that surprised me.
