This from the September '09 issue of Road & Track -
Spoon Sports, a performance based business partner of Honda's is releasing virtually new NSX Type-R's for sale!
Spoon engineers take a "normal" left hand drive NSX, strip it down to its bare chassis and then rebuild it using original Type-R components. Upon completion the car is then tested for 600 miles and sent to it's customer. So even though the NSX has not been producte for nearly five years, these cars are essentially brand new.
Plans are to build 20 cars for now. With a price expected to be slightly north of $100,000 it still represents a bargain of sorts.
