Acording to "Autoweek" you too can drive the new $1.2 million Bugatti Veyron and it's possible to do so for only $100!

But there is that anoying asterisk* Here is the story - It seems that eBay's U.K. site shows that a British rental car company is offering this chance to drive one of the world's most amazing automobiles. For a mealsey $40,000 per day rental this can all be yours. Now there is of course a pesky mileage cap of 50 miles for the day, but every good opportunity has to have a catch.

Now back to the $100 plan - we must get 399 of our closest friends to go in with us on this venture to make the economics right. There is just one more little thing. To keep within the 50 miles each of us only gets .125 of a mile, which I guess is like driving around the parking lot. But hey, how many people you know can say they have driven a $1.2 million car???

The thought of renting a Bugatti is intriguing, albeit finiancially unsound, but you only go around once in life.

If I couldn't hit full throttle, I wouldn't do it. Simple as that.
