O.K., I know that's tacky, but if Marcel were here he would laugh...well not out loud, but would mime it. Marcel passed away at the ripe old age of 81.
I actually remember watching him perform on the Ed Sullivan Show on Sunday nights. It was a period of black & white T.V., three stations to choose from and no remote control. At first I did not get his act, but later came to appreciate his art for what it was. However it is still difficult to imagine that a man could make a pretty good living in entertainment and never say a word. He didn't even talk when Ed was thanking him for his performance!
Too bad that Rosie O'Donald isn't a mime...
