Just a reminder for this weekend - The Formula One of Japan, round 15 of the season, comes to a new track after 15 years at Suzuka. (Incidentally, the Suzuka track is located next to the huge Honda facility where many great automobiles have been produced including the NSX and S2000).

If you are an early riser or late for bed you can catch all of the action live via SpeedTV. Practice is Thursday the 27th at 1:00 A.M. / Qualifying Friday the 28th at 1:00 A.M. / and the race Saturday the 29th at 12:00 A.M. for the pre-race festivities. Can you say "TIVO".

Unfortunately Honda's season has been lackluster. In the constructor's standings, the official team is in 8th position with 2 points and the Super Aguri Honda team ahead of them with 4. Even Toyota with all of the monies they have invested is only 6th with 12 points. On a positive note, both Honda teams are ahead of McLaren-Mercedes! O.K., so everyone is ahead of McLaren-Mercedes because of the FIA ruling against them, but Honda is ahead nontheless.

As the season draws to a close there is a tight race for World Champion. My vote says Hamilton will pull it off. The smart money in Las Vegas seems to think so as well. Hey, he is leading in our forum poll so that should be good for something!

That's right, thanks for the reminder.
....wow, that would be real early rising. I think I'll just stay up and have a few beers in my media room that my wife affecionately calls "the man pit".
