Noted music producer Phil Spector's murder trail was declared a mistrial since for the second time jurors could not agree on a verdict. He had been charged with murder after actress Lana Clarkson was killed at his home more than four years ago. The mistrial came after a trial in which the jurors had to decide who pulled the trigger of a revolver - leaving no fingerprints - that went off in Clarkson' mouth.

I guess you could say that Phil dodged a bullet...unlike the unfortunate Ms. Clarkson.

A little know trivia fact related to Mr. Spector is that he wrote the 50's pop song "To Know Him Is To Love Him" recorded by "The Teddy Bears". He got the title from his father's gravestone, and with that as a basis wrote the song.

You can't deny his talent, but from all accounts the man is a bit weird. Perhaps that is the price one pays for genius.
