I had a 3rd generation 1995 Integra GS-R, loved it! (Yes, I posted on the NSX forum earlier as well - I'm a total Honda guy - had 5 in all to date...)

Anyone still have one on the road? How are the 2nd generation VTEC engines still holding up?

I really miss that car... (Behind the NSX, of course...)

I can tell you that a lot of them end up swapped into Civics. It's where I got the 94 GSR motor sitting in my garage. They certainly command a lot more money than the B16 JDM VTEC engines that have become so common.

Your right Jack the 6th/7th gen civic guys love dropping these engines in their cars.Typical Honda engine....very reliable.

Yeah, it's a shame they get parted out like they do. Heck of a powerplant all things considered. Between that car and the various bikes I've had, I'm hooked on high-revving little monsters (hence the Elise I have now).

I did succumb to a torque-monster though when I bought the Duc - something so nice about whacking the throttle open at 2000rpm and feeling the back tire bite in... ;)
