TL Battery Question

My son has a TL purchased new and now just out of warranty. It has gone through three batteries and now needs another. It appears there is a situation with draw coming from the "hands-free" items.

Have other TL owners experienced this?

Sounds pretty clear cut Mike.

The dealer failed to address the ROOT CAUSE of your son's concern.
I don't care how many temporary battery replacements they did under warranty. The were addressing the symptoms and not the ROOT CAUSE.

The dealer has conveniently documented the issue with the service records of the battery replacements.

Nothing should be putting so much drain on a battery to kill it (with the alternator functioning properly) in that short a time unless there is a wiring issue and a current drain somewhere. A crazily wired aftermarket sound system maybe....

Go back to the dealership and get them to address the root cause--whatever it may be. The symptoms were clearly brought to their attention under the warranty period.
