Seems like about 8 times a day now, either it don't work at all or it's screwed up one way or another!
Tell everyone to come here. We have dedicated servers with nightly back up. In the 6 years since we started FFCobra.com we have less than 2 hours of down time.

This is nuts, I am having flashbacks to when it would go down before, on a regular basis - that was before the merger with acuraworld which was hailed as the thing of the century, a dawn of a new day.

I started FFCobra.com 6 years ago because the Cobra site at the time was always off line and they allowed the members to act like idiots. Soon after I started FFCobra, the other site went down hill and after 1 year they closed it down.
It costs money to keep a good server running and good tech guys. Some people just don't want to spend the money. Instead they want to collect the advertising dollars. I'm not sure what the problem is with A-L, but we won't have that problem here.
Notice we don't have any ads? We like clean sites!

Yeah the acuraworld merger proved to not be so fantastic. AL.com is still cool, but maybe a new place would be nice.

try negotiating a deal where acura-legend.com redirects to acuraworld until people start using it, right away you'll get hundreds of more hits if not thousands...

It wasn't when Acuraworld and Acura-Legend merged that was the problem. In fact, that totally helped keep Acura-Legend running and "up"
The problem was when Redline Motorsports (who owned both) sold to Forum Foundry (eKool and his eGang :D) and they just don't give a crap about keeping us up - or at least informed in what's going on.

Hey Brian by chance do you have any contact info for them? Or has someone already contacted them.. I imagine like you said they could care less, but still. Seems to be that the server is down more and more. I myself use to webmaster also, and these guys have no care or appreciate for the site unlike Redline Motorsports did..

I don't Mike - I would guess one of their myriad other sites they may frequent more than A-L. I think they have all the SRT forums too...at least that's where I first heard of eKool when John Hennessy was melting down and mouthing off to everybody on the SRT8 forums. That was a funny episode!

I rememeber that hennessy breakdown. Man, when your talking those kind of numbers on basically blind faith, you should expect a guy under your bed at night, waiting to recoup his money.
I notice that alot of the guys on AL.com seem to bash against this website forming. To increase traffic here all we have to do is type in BHG, and Blown head gasket in threads. I guarantee a flux in traffic within a month.

I thought it went a way for a while, but I am getting this eerie feeling that A-L.com will quietly go away like that other legend.org website did. I wonder what happened to that one.
