While attending the NSXPO 2007 event in Ohio this week I started to wonder if any of the other cars in the Acura family have an annual gathering. I don't recall there being any, but it seems logical to me. With proper customer organization to show a following I think that Acura management would be willing to help underwrite it. That is not to say attending NSXPO is free, because that is far from the truth. Attendees pay their portion of the event cost, but I believe Acura does offer limite support. It is a good investment as it encourages brand loyalty and increases brand visiability.
How about it owners of TL's, RL's, Legend's, etc.

The S2000 club recently had their national event at fatory facilities in Torrence California with 500 in attendannce - and I thought 100 NSX's was impressive. In addition to the usual seminars and social functions they were treated to an early viewing of the S2000CR. The chief engineer for the S2000, Shiegro Uehara, was on hand as well. Mr. Uehara is a tallented man as he was instrumental in development of the NSX too.
If S2000 owners can have such a successful club event, so can other models in the Acura line up.

P.S. - When you have an automotive visitor from the Orient you must be careful as to what you say. Several years ago when the S2000 was being introduced to the U.S., three cars and 3 or 4 factory engineers were being toured around the country for the press and invited guest. When it came to Atlanta our local NSX owners were among those offered the opportunity. Later at a cocktail party one of our moer involved NSX members was commenting about the automatic transmision available for the NSX. His observations were not favorable and the general gist was "what idiot puts an automatic transmission in an NSX?". Later we discovered that one of factory engineers in the conversation was the designer for the NSX auto tranny. To make it worse, he spoke excellent English!
