While attending NSXPO in Ohio this week I was reading in the local newspaper about a couple in Springfield who were both Wal-Mart employees. They arranged their first date while sitting on a sofa in the furniture section and fell in love and were engaged. The site selected for the wedding was the lawn & garden section of the store to commemorate where they met. The only unexpected turn occured when the familiar "Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers" announcement broke into the ceremony. If it dosen't work out I wonder if you can go to the "returns" department?
My neighbor was married atop a mountain in Alaska where the bride, groom. minister and witness were all dropped in by helicopter. The bride wore a full length white fur coat (with apologies to PETA), and the ceremony was followed by a snowball fight.
Any forum members have unusual wedding stories or know of any?

P.S. - Incidentally, nuptials are now legal in most states.
