Any common/expensive problems to look for? The few I know of is any type of frame repair, snap ring fix on the early cars, window motors, AC, any others on these earlier cars?

In addition to the items you mention, I want to closely look at service records and ownership history. Those can tell a great deal about an NSX's past that will predict future potential problems. I also like to see what brand of tires the seller has on his NSX. If they are inexpensive or mis-matched tires that is indictive of someone who in all likelihood has skimped on services. Another tire related point - be sure it has a viable spare tire. As NSX's have aged many of the knock down spare tires have cracked along the creases where it folds. Does it have the inflator that custom fits in the trunk? If not that is about a $300 part.
To help in your quest keep this in mind. Because the NSX has a strong following of enthuasiast - many very knowledgeable about all aspects of the NSX - there are a lot of folks available to help check out a car for you. There are members of the NSX Club Of America scattered around the country and most will perform an inspection at no charge. It can be devestating and costly to travel several States to pick up your NSX only to discover it is not as advertisied.
By using our forum and sites like NSXCA and NSX Prime knowledgeable people are available to inspect your potential purchase. Of the four NSX's I have owned, I bought three of them sight unseen. Two were checked out by fellow club members and one I did have the dealer give a look.
Prices seem to have stabilized recently and the NSX is an exotic you can buy for cheap new car money and drive a truly great sports car. While there can be some very costly repairs associated with the NSX, because of who made it and how they made it your chance of being bitten is minimal, especially when compared to other exotic competitors.
Good luck and enjoy your find when you purchase it!
