According to a report just released in Georgia, the most popular car to be stolen is...the '94 Honda Accord!
The study is prepared by the National Insurance Crime Bureau and referrred to as the "Hot Wheels" report. The bureau news release did not address why a 13 year old car was the crooks favorite. Keep in mind that these cars were made the year O.J. Simpson was arrested - the first time, so they have a bit of travel time under their belt. Perhaps it is because of the shear numbers of '94 Accords built and still on the road. Maybe more are parked in criminal neighborhoods, or they just prefer to "steal Japanese" vs. "buy American".
Nationwide the top stolen vehicle was the 1995 Honda Civic, so crooks across the nation prefer Honda. Surpriseingly enough in the Gerogia findings was that out of the top ten most stolen vehicles several were U.S. made.

#4 '86 Olds Cutlass
#5 '97 Ford F-150
#6 '95 Honda Civic
#7 '94 Jeep Cherokee

#9 '94 Toyota Camey
#10 '99 Ford Taurus
Judging from the list it seems to me that most criminals don't have very good taste when it comes to automobiles.
