I just received my issue of "AutoWeek" for October 15th and included is their "Ultimate Car, Truck & Sport/UTE Buyers Guide". Frankly I expected a fairly accurate assessment of the competition available. I was wrong.
All Acura models received praise under their "opinion" section - but so did virtually every other vehicle! About the only negative comment I saw was for the Kia Rio - "This compact is cheap, but the crowded compact market is filled with better options". Most others received favorable or at worse neutral reviews. It seems that the folks who put this together went to the journalist school with the mantra if you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all.
To me it seems to be a "softball" guide and offers little help in buying a car.
