The 2011 Formula One season finally got underway, and Red Bull Racing / Renault kept their winning ways with Seb Vettle the winner.

It was not a great race to my mind, but interesting, especially in how the new regulations come into play. Two more weeks and they can all do it again.

Vitaly Petrov became the first Russian to achieve a podium spot in a Formula One race!

He drove an impressive race and I have been impressed by him since his entrance to F1 last year. I loved the fact that on several ocassions last year he never let Alonzo intimidate him.
