Forget "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" and instead think of "Fast Cars At Flashback Motorworks Car Show". The event is Saturday, November 3rd starting at 11:00.

Flashback is an amazing spot for any automotive lover. They specialize in meticulious restorations of vehicles of all types. You will have the opportunity to walk the facility seeing restorations in progress along with consignment autos for sale. There will be classics to new, Fords to Ferrari's and lots in between.

All car enthusiasts are invited to enter their prized possession for ONLY $5.00! Admission is free along with hot dogs & burgers.

I plan to attend with my sharp NSX and hope to see some of our Acura Forum members. Any Acura Forum member that I meet will receive a special "thank you gift"! I will be the old red headed dude with the NSX shirt (and probably walking around with one of the grandkids).
-Mike S.

Flashback is located in Woodstock, Georgia, close to Atlanta. For more information visit www.flashbackmotorworks.com.

Yesterday was the big car show in beautiful Comming Georgia, which everyone knows is a hot-bed of exotic and unusual cars...yea, sure it is.
Well it realy was Saturday as there was a wide assortment of vehicles from the mundane to exotic and all in between. There were only two NSX's, my 2000 silver and a very nice '94 Brooklands Green, but I did meet a fellow who owns a Legend and will be joining our site.

Among the hits of the show was my daughter's Ford GT. I felt a little slighted when she and I arrived late and I was told to proceed to the very end for parking, while the GT was assigned a prime spot right at the entrance. It had to be because she is younger and better looking than me and nothing to do with the cars.

In addition to the mix of Ferrari's, BMW's, Porsche's and other European marques I saw many British - Austin-Healey, Morgan, M.G., Thriumph - and an aray of U.S. makes. In fact top honors was taken by an unsuual '57 Chevy with flames.

At the risk of turning this post into a "dog eared family photo album", the shot is of my daughter and grandson. I had the modsty of posing them in front of the '94 NSX and not with my car...partly because there was not enough room in the corner that I was stuck in.

It made for a pleasant "car day". This is the time of the year for such events and if you know of any up coming make a post. We have a special section divided by region.

Mike,

It was great meeting you and the family at Flashback, and I'm flattered you used my 94 NSX as a backdrop. It's also kinda of funny that the entire row of cars in the warehouse was bounded by my NSX on one side, and your NSX on the other!

The yellow 74 Pantera behind my NSX belongs to a friend of mine and won the best of show award, which was WELL DESERVED. As Mike stated, there were some great cars at the show and the guys at Flashback couldn't have been better hosts.

Oh, and your daugther's Ford GT is stunning!

Here's some shots I took from the show. I somehow missed Mike's NSX, and any direct shots of my NSX (but its the background of the Pantera in one shot). The Ferrari's belong to a bunch of guys I'm fortunate enough to hang out with...enjoy!

Jackie,

No, thank you for bringing such a great car to the show. Your GT is stunning and personifies what a true exotic sports car should be.

We hope to see you, Mike, and the rest of the family around sometime. It was a blast Saturday!

Great getting to put faces to the names. BTW, I was the guy with the Silverish Lotus Esprit. I'll see if I can find some more pics from the show. Glad everyone enjoyed it!
