Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday released its fan-selected list of the 33 greatest drivers in Indianapolis 500 history, a compilation of 30 race winners and three nonwinners over the first 100 years of the race.
All 17 of the drivers who won multiple 500s--including four-time winners A. J. Foyt, Rick Mears and Al Unser Sr.--made the cut. The three nonwinners chosen were Michael Andretti, Dan Gurney and Tony Bettenhausen.
