This weekend is the grandest of all Grand Prix's, the Monaco GP. Monaco is truly a most amazing part of the world, and for a race the caliber of F1 to run on it's streets is breath taking.
I'm fortunate enough to have visited Monaco, but it was not during the GP I am sorry to say. None-the-less, it was a trip to be remembered. Just driving the course where the race is run was thrilling.
Check internet sites for clips of Ayrton Senna navigating the narrow streets. As you will recall, Senna had a great deal of input to make our NSX the vehicle it was.
Several years ago I participated in a Mercedes event whereby we were allowed to drive their various cars on a simulated circuit. One of the ladies in charge noticed the NSX I arrived in for the event. Among her other jobs was that she was a journalist, and had spent the day with Senna conducting an interview. After it was over, he took her for a spirited drive in his NSX. She said it was the most thrilling thing she had ever done.
She volunteered to submit an article about it for publication in the "NSX Driver" magazine, but failed to do so. It would certainly make a must read article.
