Ayrton Senna Documentary Arrives

The long talked about documentary on Ayrton Senna is touring the U.S. I plan to see it on the Atlanta showing the 26th of this month and will provide my thoughts.

If it lives up to the hype it will be a super flick.

As it happened we were out of town when the Senna documentary movie premired here in Atlanta. However, my daughter and her husband attended with the Ferrari club - driving their F430 Berlinetta - life's good...

Several notables were there including F1 announcer Bob Varsha, who lives in Atlanta.

They enjoyed it , especially my son-in-law as he is more of the car fan. I figured I would have to catch it at a later date, as it was only showing for a very limited time. However, it was extended and today I took off to attend an afternoon showing. It was almost like a semi-private viewing as there were only about a dozen folks in attendance. So much for F1 interest in Atlanta. Of course it was in the afternoon, so perhaps that was the problem.

Anyway, I found the documentary inspiring and an excellent insight into the life of Ayrton Senna. (Incidentally, on the recording with times, etc. the girl reading the script kept calling it "Seena"). It's very well worth the effort to catch if ever in your area. I could easilly look at it again.

The interesting movie "Senna" is now released on DVD. I found it to be a very good motion picture show and will look into getting the DVD.
