I have a 2003 CL-S and my OE rotors have been machined three times in 40k miles.... Looking at brembo or disc italia rotors with ceramicool pads. Any suggestions?

If you're going to go aftermarket be sure to go with a good brand. Lots of the "cheaper" aftermarket rotors are OE replacement brembo's or some no name rotors that have been drilled.

The drilled rotors end up cracking over time and then you've got a much more serious problem. Brembo, Stoptech, and Powerstop are some good brands to look out for.

We are fortunate to have several knowledgeable members, some of which work with Acura. It is especially nice that they take the time to share their knowledge and opinions with the rest of us.

Keep it up!

ended up going with the discitalia and ceramicool instead of the brembos. had them now for about 3,000mi and no problems at all. i have noticed better grip by the pads leading to shorter stopping distances from high speeds. thanks for the input...
