At NSXPO in Ohio last month there were some very interesting tags. Here is one. I am working on compiling a montage of the various ones, but in the meantime will post a few periodically. Some are most creative.

Actually your tag say how most of us feel about the NSX. Mine is sort of mundane - NSXCA - for our club. My next one is going ot be much better...I may even steal one from NSXPO.
Over the next couple of days I will be posting more of them.
Any other forum members with unusual tags???

Yet another tag from NSXPO. Ferrari folks won't appreciate this one, but I like it.
What unusual tags do other forum members have?

Here is another suggestion for your vanity plate.
A couple of years ago I was doing a Mercedes event where we could drive the various models on a closed circuit and it included such features as a chicane, obstacles to avoid, a simulated railroad crossing - to see how quiet the M-B was, etc.
One of the ladies running the event noticed my NSX and told me that she had a memorable experience with the late Aryton Senna. She was an automotive journalist and once on short notice her editor called to say that he had an assignment for her in Italy. The trip alone excited her, but the assignment was to interview Mr. Senna, then at the top of his game.
This young lady's name was Laura, and she said it was the most exciting and rewarding interview of her career. After the interview Aryton showed her his NSX, which he happened to have in Italy at the time and took her for an unforgetable mountain dirve! There are some NSX affectionados who would have died and gone to heaven at that point, or would have felt they had already arrived. What an experience to never forget!
When she told me about this I asked if she would recount the event for our "NSX Driver" magazine and she agreed. Although we corresponded several times and she was looking for her photos to include, she never submitted the story. When I decided to post this tag I looked through old emails and located Laura's email. I just sent her one in the hopes she will respond and write he story for Acura Forum. If she responds, now that would be a journalistic coup for sure! I've got my fingers crossed.

When I posted the shot of the New York plate - "ASENNA", I did not mention that this tag belongs to one super nice fellow! Besides the fact that he has long been an active member in the NSX Club Of America and is very knowlegeable about the NSX, he is just a super guy.
He is obviously a New Yorker - hence the plate from N.Y. - but when the tragedy on 9-11 occured this individual helped with the clean-up for months! I don't mean that he served coffee and donuts, I mean he pulled rubble off people and things and did what it took to help with the recovery.
I won't mention his name, though most of us in the NSX community know who I mean, and he is a forum member, but I want to say "Thanks for Giving!"

Here is another NSXPO tag and when I first saw it thought it was meant to be sarcastic. Later I met the owner & his wife and it turns out this is their last name...but I still like the tag.
This gentleman is a forum member and at NSXPO shared something related to the NSX. Many of NSX'ers want to remove the wording "NSX" from the middle tail light. This member has a fairly simply way to accomplish it and I will be sharing the method soon under the NSX section of the forum.

This thread contains a collection of vanity plates and I will be posting more, including mine. So, which state has the highest percentage of vanity plates, which the least and some in between?
Well you could say "URSOVAIN" Virginia, because out of 9.3 million personalized plates on the U.S. roads, about 10% are in Virginia according to the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. That's 16% of the plates issued by that state. New Hampshire came in second with nearly 14%, followed closely by Illinois with 13.4%. My home state, Gerogia, ranked 42nd with only 1.5%. The great state of Texas had the fewest with only about a half percent of drivers personalizing their plates.
Vanity plates are such a hot subject and interesting reading that a new book is about to be published called "LCNS2ROM" - License to Roam. It tells the stories behind the plate.
I once followed a car with the tag "NSX-911". To me it said something like which do I buy? However, it was on a Kia, so maybe it was just wishfull thinking. What are some of your favorite tags?

This will only be funny to those of us who enjoy Seinfeld. There was an episode involving a proctologist and pasta and the "tag" line was - "you got the Assman!"
And here he is...
