The December issue of Motor Trend has the latest thoughts on the 2007 Acura RDX from their long term test fleet. And the words are very favorable.

After comparing the RDX with the BMW X3, Land Rover LR2, Lincoln MKX, Mazda CX-7 and Toyota RAV4 V-6 where the RDX was the hands down winner, Motor Trend added it to their group of test vehicles.

No one has been disappointed. From the performance to the options to the looks comments are positive.

Reports such as this serve many purposes and not the least of which is to sell RDX's. But another benefit is longer range. Good press from respected automobile journals like Motor Trend help influence residual values as those reflect history and demand. So let's keet the good words flowing!

The RDX is a car that grows on you the more you drive it. The RDX is a superstar that is much more (don't laugh) Sport sedan than SUV. This car is perfect for the driving enthusiast who prefers driving something sporty, but needs the extra space and utility of an SUV.

The RDX handles so much better than you can imagine. Super-Handling AWD probably has a lot to do with it. It virtually eliminates understeer. You simply turn the wheel and the car follows, even while accelerating. And if you disable VSA you can even get a bit of tail sliding, and it won't slow down your momentum any. SH-AWD would be awesome on the TL and TSX!

I'm happy to hear that the folks at Motor Trend are giving the RDX good marks.

Take care,
