I am trying to get some additional information on getting the extended warranty refund on my 2001 TL 3.2 Acura. When I bought the car on 2001, there was a deal on 7 year 1000000 miles extended warranty, if you don’t use the warranty, before the expiration date you will get the 100% money back. I could not locate my paper work so I call Acura and they told me they never have such a program. The only reason I got the extended warranty because of the full money back guaranty. I was wondering does anyone in the Forum know where to contact on getting this refund.

I really need to confirm this again, but in an earlier post concerning Acura warranties I mentioned a conversation I had with the person who handles warranty issues for a local dealer. He informed me that Acura does not own or administer their warranty program, it is handled by an outside third party. In fact he said that it had been sold he thought two times. You may want to read that thread.

I think you should point blank ask the dealer if this is in fact true and if so perhaps that is the reason for your problem. Please share with the forum what you discover and good luck.
