Steve McQueen's original racing suit from the movie "Le Mans" sold on eBay in December, 2011 for $984,000! I realize it is a famous and well recognized suit, but almost one million large for it seems crazy.
Another aspect of the sale is that it had belonged to another fellow who sold it four months prior to that for $155,000. Apparently someone just didn't know how to establish a value. Ouch!
