In the concept I see a little Corvette, touch of Ferrari and a bit of Batmobile. I for one like it and say "crank up the Tochigi plant and build this winner."

The press photos I was able to get from Honda don't show the doors open. The car looks great IMO.

From what I read that is supposed to be the new NSX.

This thing is dead. Honda has gone back to the drawing board -- supposedly, it WILL be a MR. The ASC was designed to be a GT car, not a performance exotic like the NSX -- to me, it would have been a complete 180 from the NSX and its racing heritage.

I keep hearing rumors that we will be looking at a slightly larger 2+2 GT vs. a true sports car - ala NSX.

Frankly I just want to see Acura / Honda get something to the market after such a long absence.

Truthfully, honda has been jumping around on this.. current rumor is that there will be a true NSX sucessor. The 2 + 2 GT was met with sour reviews by many.

I think I've made it very well known -- I think the ASC should be called the ASC.. if that thing is called the NSX it would be a slap in Honda's racing heritage. the NSX was designed to be a world class super car/exotic with daily driveable attributes. a GT car would be watering down the bloodline.
