I know someone with a 1993 NSX with 12,000 miles. It is in good condition and he wants $35k firm. I know there are many variables, but does that sound like a fair ballpark price?

Yes it does sound like a fair price to me. That is small miles for a car that is 14 years old. There are some NSX gurus on this site, I'm sure they will pipe in. :)

I think thats a really fair price for an NSX with 12k miles.

For example we have an almost "mint" conditon 1990 with 24k kilometers listed at $49k

That's a deal if the car is nice. Do a pre-purchase inspection.

I assume you mean 1991, not 1990. Be sure than the tranny is not in the SNAP RING RANGE or if it is, see proof that the transmission has been fixed. This can be costly.

The car needs a 60k service because the belts could be bad. While that's being done, they will do the valves. The hoses should be replaced. Maybe Carl will chim in with a cost.

The car is worth $39,000 to $40,000 so putting a little money it it won't hurt---until you realize how much fun they are to drive and then the miles will climb!
