Here is a shot form the recent NSXPO in Ohio. This NSX'er rigged his middle rear light with a programable LED rotating sign. You can see the end of the word "Acura" as it scrolls across.
Has anyone else ever seen this?

I just thought about it. On all of the four NSX's I have owned, that rear light gets moisture and soemtimes even an inch or two of water. It happens on many NSX's and is generally referred to as the "fish bowl" effect. I hope ths fellow had his sealed especially tight.
There are generally two schools of thought as how best to resolve fish bowl. One is to carefully separate the seal, clean it out and re-seal very securely. Others say the answer is to open it and drill several holes in the bottom to let moisture escape and anything left will evaporate. I generally just leave them alone wiht the moisture showing. Thought form any forum members on what works best?
(This set-up would be cool to type in interesting or thought provoking things as you drive.)

I've seen a couple DIY on those, that one turned out better than most, but I prefer the factory JDM dark housing or blacked out tail lights.. for someone wanting something different.. theres always clearcorners.com's tail lights: I've seen a couple DIY on those, that one turned out better than most, but I prefer the factory JDM dark housing or blacked out tail lights.. for someone wanting something different.. theres always clearcorners.com's tail lights:

Those lights look nice. Any idea of an approximate cost for this?

Ouch! A little more than I thought it would be. O.K., a lot more than I thought it would be, but thanks for the details. Perhaps others among us have more money for such add-ons.

its very rare for me to see anyone with these.. some of these prices are outrageous, but sometimes paying for a experts time can be expensive. one hour of service at most dealers range from $110/hr to $180/hr.. astronomical prices, but thats the price for someones expertise.
