There is an interesting audio system included with the 2009 Aston Martin Rapide - a system from Bang & Olufsen, the renoun Scandinavian sound wizzards.

B&O's first foray into automobile audio came in 2003, when it partnered with Audi on an optional system for the A8 sedan. The $6,300 system was noted for its sound as well as two futuristic looking aluminum tweeters that rise up theatrically from the daashboard when the system is turned on. Even at such a hig price, Bang & Olufsen says that 20 percent of all A8's are ordered with the hign end autio option.

For the $400,000+ Rapide, a B&O sound system will be a minimal part of the price I guess.

In the 70's when I thought I had a few extra dollars I bought a Bang & Olufsen sound system for our home from Neiman-Marcus, who at the time was the sole U.S. distributor. It was way ahead of its time, with a sensor touch control panel, and we still use it today. To show how long ago it was that we purchased the B&O unit, it has a "record player" that plays 33 1/3 rpm records, and that is pretty much what I use it for. It stil works great after all these years wth not one bit of trouble! Hard to find quality like that.
