It's A New Year With New Laws

State legislatures passed more than 40,000 new laws last year, many of which went into effect Jan. 1. Here are some I found interesting:

* Ohio - $150 fine for driving without headlights on when it's snowing.
* Texas - Teenagers must be accompaianed by an adult at tanning bed facilities.
* New Hampshire - Harsher penalities for human trafficking (sounds reasonable to me).
* California - Partly banned trans fats in restaurant food.
* Arkansas - Prohibits the sale of toy guns that look real unless they are of the BB, paintball or pellet variety.
